Privacy Policy
Effective October 31, 2026
Information you choose to send
When you contact us, you may provide your name, phone number, physical property address, optional email address, contact preference, project description, and any photos or other information you send. Please do not include payment card information, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive information in an inquiry.
How the website works
The quote calculator processes the entered measurements and options in your browser. It does not automatically submit your estimate or contact details to Godwin Fencing. The contact form creates an email draft in your own email app; information is sent only when you send that email. Text and call links open your device’s messaging or calling service. Copy estimate places the estimate on your device’s clipboard when supported.
How inquiry information is used
Information you send is used to respond to your request, discuss your project, arrange a site visit, prepare estimates, and communicate about requested services. Email, telephone, and messaging providers process communications through their services. Information may also need to be handled for business records, legal obligations, or resolution of a dispute.
Hosting and third-party services
This site is hosted through ChatGPT Sites. The hosting platform and its infrastructure providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser information, request logs, and authentication information needed to operate and protect the site, subject to their own policies. We have not added advertising pixels or third-party analytics scripts to this site. This does not mean that hosting or authentication services use no cookies or logs. External services you choose to open, including email, messaging, or social platforms, have their own privacy practices.
Optional property map
The map loads imagery and street tiles from Esri. When you search, your entered address is sent to Esri to find matching locations; map requests also disclose the viewed area and technical information such as your IP address. These services are subject to Esri’s privacy policy. Drawn fence layouts remain in the current page and are not automatically submitted to Godwin Fencing. Copy estimate includes the selected address and approximate layout footage. You may use manual footage entry without searching an address.
Your choices
You can use the calculator without sending an inquiry. Email and project details in the contact form are optional; name, phone, and physical address are requested for follow-up and site planning. You may instead contact us directly to discuss what information is needed. Contact us to request correction or deletion of information you have sent, or to stop inquiry follow-up. We will review requests and explain any records that must be retained for legal or ongoing business purposes.
Security and updates
No internet, email, or text communication can be guaranteed completely secure. Use care with information you share. This policy describes the current website; changes to forms, tracking, or communication services may require an updated policy. Updated versions will show a revised effective date.
